see, i m learning to drive from today and next week this driving school guys will get me a learner's license BUT:
* motoring school guy told me that i ll need my school certificate for age proof [which i have] plus a new ration card [which i dont have] or a bank statement ...
* i have a bank account which as minor beforel; we submitted the application for getting it majored but nothing happened and i so, dont have a passbook or statement in my name... and i dont like this bank too...
** can i get another bank account ? like some SBI or ICICI? all i have is my age proof [school certificate] and old ration card [which now smart officials refuse to take; havent tried in bank] and an affidavit as my address proof and character.
CAN I HAVE AN INSTANT BANK ACCOUNT WITH THESE SMALL DOCUMENTS?

I believe you do have to have a form of id as well as the items you mentioned above. If you don't want to wait through the period for your learner's license, you should still be able to go to your local Dept of Transportation and have them issue you an identification card only. I know there are people with no driver's license but have an identification card. Best of luck to you Sunny!

If you are under 18 a parent or guardian is required when opening a bank account
If you are over 18 two forms of picture ID are required.
you will defiantly need a photo id or you will not be able to get a bank account
