Should I lie on my Job application?

Question:

Answers:
Well, no. Of course you should never lie. However, let's be smart about this. Is it a big lie or a little lie? Are you making up a false college degree or saying you worked somewhere for a year rather than 6 months?

Remember, lying on your application is ALWAYS legal grounds for termination - even 10 years down the road.
no, never a good idea.
If you want the job
No, absolutely not.
No, they fire you when they find out.
I teach Job skills and work skills and tell the students to never, ever under any circumstance lie on an application. If you did get the job, they would be within rights to let you go, and then there could be further repercussions.
Yeah, If you think you can get away with it.
If you lie on a job application and get hired you can be automatically terminated if they ever find out. So I would say no dont lie on it. However you can alter the name of your position to sound a bit more upgraded. Like dishwaser/bus boy to sanitairy kitchen help. Something like that. But dont lie its automatic grounds for termination, even if you got the job were there for 7 years and then they found out they could still fire you with no reason. Also if that happened then you would lose your unemployment benifits as well.
Never, never, never should you lie on your application your resume or in an interview. Providing false information will usually get found out & they can fire you for cause -- which will mean no unemployment benefits and a bad reference.
